Digital design and manufacturing
Computer-aided design
The digital impression and X-rays are sent to the dental laboratory. The dental technician designs crowns, inlays and other restorations directly on the computer (CAD/CAM), on a virtual copy of your teeth.
When a plaster model is needed, it is digitised with a laboratory scanner so it can also be worked on digitally.
Manufacturing by milling
Once the design is approved, the milling machine carves the restoration from a ceramic block with great precision, using the data sent by the computer.
