Hygiene and instrument processing
Your dentist’s instruments
The instruments used during your consultation must be strictly sterilized in order to prevent contamination by fungi, viruses or bacteria. We pay particular attention to this.
Your dentist’s instruments fall into two distinct categories:
Instruments that are decontaminated and sterilized at 132 degrees Celsius in an autoclave. This applies to all reusable items, such as spatulas or tweezers.
Instruments protected by sealed sterile packaging, intended for single use only, such as masks, gloves or needles.
All sterilization processes are regularly tested to check their effectiveness and proper functioning.
Traceability of the materials used in the practice is also part of the hygiene rules we apply. A traceability certificate is therefore systematically provided when you receive prosthetic or implant treatment.
Likewise, surgical instruments are tracked through labeling specific to each instrument.
