Dental crowns

When a tooth is too damaged to be restored with a filling or an onlay, a crown covers it entirely to protect it and restore its shape. At our practice, we only make all-ceramic crowns, for a natural look.

If the nerve is healthy, we prepare the tooth and fit a ceramic crown that covers it entirely.

It protects the tooth from fractures over the long term and restores its natural shape and shade.

When decay has reached the nerve, we first carry out root canal treatment: we remove the diseased nerve infected by bacteria, disinfect the canals, then seal them with a clean, watertight filling paste.

A root-treated tooth becomes more fragile. We reinforce it with a post and core (inlay-core), a support anchored in the root, then fit the crown.
