Navigated guided surgery
For implant placement, the practice uses the X-Guide navigation system. The implant is first planned on the computer from your 3D X-ray. During the procedure, the system tracks the position of the instruments in real time and guides the practitioner’s hand to the planned position.
This technique allows precise positioning that respects your anatomy (nerves, sinuses), and often a less invasive procedure.
